The Rhea County Health Department, Tennessee Department of Health and local veterinarians are teaming up to offer low-cost rabies vaccines for area pets.

All dogs and cats over three months of age should be vaccinated. The vaccine, which is effective for one year, costs $10.

The rabies vaccination clinics will be held at the following locations:

Saturday, April 16

5pring City Elementary from 1 to 1:30 p.m.

Friendship Baptist Church Grounds from 2 to 2:15 p.m.

5t. Clair Methodist Church from 2:30-3 p.m.

Mars Hill Community Building Grounds from 3:15 to 3:30 p.m.

Big Apple Texaco (Hwy, 68W) from 3:45 to 4 p.m.

Wednesday, April 20

Ogden Baptist Church from 3:30 to 4 p.m.

Walden Ridge Elementary School from 4:15 to 4:45 p.m.

Graysvilie Elementary School from 5:30 to 6 p.m.

Saturday,April 23

5pivey United Methodist Church from 1 to 1:20 p.m.

Wolf Creek Community Center/Fire Hall from 1 to 2 p.m.

Garrison Fire Department from 1:30 to 1:50 p.m.
