The Christmas season is in full swing as the Spring City Christmas Parade is set to return on Saturday, Dec. 14, in downtown Spring City.

Festivities kick off that day at 10 a.m. with a craft fair beginning at 10 a.m. and running until 4 p.m., when the Spring City Christmas Parade begins along Front Street.

The theme for this year’s parade is “Christmas Around the World.”

The day will also feature, artists and craft vendors, food vendors, a family fun/game area, Mr. and Miss Christmas pageants, a kid’s crafting station and a Finding Frosty game.

On Monday, the Spring City Chamber of Commerce announced that it has extended the deadline to march in the parade until Thursday, Dec. 5.

“We want to have a big parade this year, and we will need your help,” chamber officials said. “Parade entry fee is only $20.”
