Elizabeth Ann Hancock, 73, of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2020, at Erlanger Hospital.

She was a lifelong resident of Rhea County and of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Hancock Jr.; parents, Frederick Newman and Imogene and Tom Jordan; brother, Nathan Jordan; and sisters, Renee Shelton and Lila Schaffer.

She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Joy (Johnathan) Mayfield, of Dayton; sisters, Janie Jordan Nelson and Donna Jean (David) Thomas, of Chattanooga, Tenn.; brothers, James Jordan, of Dayton and David (Debbie) Jordan, of Ga.; grandchildren, Baylee JaneAnn Mayfield and Savannah Grace Mayfield; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 10, 2020, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Rigsby Cemetery in Pikeville, Tenn.

The family will receive friends Friday, Jan. 10, 2020, from noon to 2 p.m.
