Katherine Logan, 91, of Georgia, went home to be with Jesus on Monday, July 29, 2019, in Dayton, surrounded by her family. She was a member of First Christian Community Church.
She was proceeded by her husband, John Logan; mother, Louella West; sister, Robbie Jean Wilkerson; two sons, Jerry Banks and Alburn Banks; and son-in-law, Lynn Matthew.
She is survived by her children, Brenda Sharp, Caroline Wilkerson, Janice (Charles) Smith, Diana (Rodney) Billups, Angella Banks Matthew, Lucinda Banks, Michael Banks, and Alonzo (Tamara) Banks. She was blessed with eight grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; four nieces, Sondra Douglas, Belinda (Toney) Rogers, Debbie Gillespie, Faye(John) Goddard; two nephews, Dion Wilkerson, Ronald Barry Wilkerson; as well as family members and friends.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Aug. 1, 2019, at 7p.m. in the chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Suttles, Rev. Johnson and Rev. Toney Rogers officiating. Interment will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 2, 2019, at the National Cemetery in Chattanooga, Tenn.
The family will receive friends Thursday, Aug. 1, 2019, from 3 to 7 p.m. in the chapel.
