Rose Runyan, 73, died Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2020, at her residence.
A lifetime resident of Spring City, Rose was the daughter of the late Robert Patrick and Lillie Blanch Cooper Walker. She owned and operated Rose’s Florist and assisted her husband in R & R Excavating. Rose loved antiques. After retirement, she enjoyed working outdoors in her yard and also in her flowerbeds. Rose attended Yellow Creek Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Ray Runyan; and several brothers and sisters including Earl Walker.
Survivors include her children, Linda Skiles, Beverly (Eric) Tallent and Randy (Cindy) Runyan, all of Spring City; grandchildren, David (Penny) Runyan, Amanda (Matt) Landreth, Cody Hayes, Brittany (Dakota) Stinnett and Sally Tallent; and great-grandchildren, Chloe Landreth, David Runyan, Lucus Runyan, Dallas Runyan, Kyler Hayes and Alaina Hayes.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, Jan. 12, 2020, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Forgey officiating. Burial will be at Friendship Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, Jan. 12, 2020, from 12 noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
