Marilyn Ruth Pritchett Headlee, 60, of Perry Fla., passed away Oct. 2, 2019. She was born on Sept. 3, 1959, in Dayton. Marilyn lived most of her life in Dayton before moving to Perry, Fla., where she made her home with her son, until her passing.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents George J. and Beulah Evitt Pritchett, of Spring City; grandparents, Benton and Alice Porter Pritchett of Spring City, Spencer and Rosebud Clark Evitt, of Dayton; as well as many uncles, aunts and cousins.
Marilyn is survived by one son, Jimmy Lee Headlee; and several grandchildren of Perry, Fla.; sisters, Julie (James) Kaylor, Sonya (Kevin) Franklin, Tessa (Michael) Moody, all of Dayton; and several uncles, aunts and cousins.
She loved caring for her animals. Working in the school system during the time her son was in grammar school. She was a homemaker who for several years owned and operated a Food Truck, cooking and serving the area workers in Perry.
While growing up she was a member and attended Pleasant Dale Baptist church.
Marilyn will be laid to rest there in Perry, Fla.
