Roy Lee Dillard, 59, of Dayton, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 24, 2019, at Erlanger Medical Center.

Roy was a lifelong resident of Rhea County. He enjoyed his children, hunting and was employed by the Rhea County Convenience Center.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Marvin Dillard.

He is survived by parents, Edward Dillard and Aline Dillard; daughter, Beverly (James) Adkins, of Soddy-Daisy, Tenn.; special friend, Misty (Moose) Hickman, of Dayton; sisters, Charlotte (George) Morgan, of Dayton, and Brenda Godsey, of Dayton; brother, Ray Dillard, of Dayton; grandchildren, Gabriel Adkins, Makayla Adkins, James Adkins Jr., Bailey Adkins, Paisley Adkins, Payton Adkins and Everleigh Adkins; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2019, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Rev. George Morgan officiating. Interment will be at Cove Cemetery in Dayton.

Family will be receiving friends from 11 to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, August 28, 2019.
