Paul Eugene Walkowiak, 83, of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2019.

Paul was a longtime resident of Rhea County and a member of McDonald Road Seventh-day Adventist Church in Ooltewah, Tenn. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and National Guard where he was a telecommunication specialist, and retired as a supervisor at Ford Motor Company.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Mary Opeila Walkowiak; brother, Leon Walkowiak; and sister, Barbara Louise Cox.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy J. Walkowiak, of Dayton; children, Paul Bradford Walkowiak, of Michigan, Kimberly Rene’ Caswell, of Colorado, Nancy Rachelle Sitler, of Dayton, Gail Elaine Rhuland, of Michigan, and Mary Malissa Wilcox, of Ooltewah, Tenn.; 15 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, Oct. 6, 2019, at 7 p.m. at Cedar Ridge Seventh-day Adventist Church on Hwy 60 with Pastor Don Richands and Pastor Don Gettys officiating.
