Leela Agnes Tollett, 83, passed away March 20, 2020, at her home in Dayton.
Agnes was a lifelong resident of Rhea County and a member of Salem Baptist Church.
She loved going to Senior Neighbors, playing bingo and spending time with her lady friends at The Courtyard.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Tollett; parents, John Hudson Shaver and Allie Housley Shaver; son, Timothy Randall Tollett; brother, Olin Shaver; sisters, Kathryn Pegues and Mildred Raines and step grandson Clayton Edgeman.
She is survived by children, Jim (Jennifer) Tollett and Darlene (Bill) Edgeman, both of Dayton; sisters, Velma Farley, Frances Marsh, Shirley Bishop, Lorene Jewell and Doris Watson, all of Dayton, and Vivian Prevatte of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; brothers, Delma, Troy and Marvin Shaver, all of Dayton, Huddy Shaver, of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Tom Shaver, of Cleveland, Tenn.; grandson, Brad Tollett; special great-grandson, Weston Edgeman; step-grandson, Clint Edgeman; several nieces and nephews; and caregivers, Robin Elkins and Shelia White.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 23, 2020, at Shaver Cemetery with Rev. Clyde Fitzgerald officiating.
There will be no visitation.
