Reba Jo Kibble, 86, of Cleveland, Tenn., passed away late Wednesday evening, Oct. 16, 2019, at her home. She was born on June 7, 1933, in Dayton, the daughter of the late Floyd and Nellie Roddy Colbaugh. Reba was also preceded in death by her husbands, Bill Hutchins and Eddie Rice; her brother, Floyd “Buddy” Colbaugh; and her sisters, Aileen Paul, Juanita Defriese, Bonnie Haun, Anna Ruth Burnette, Rowena Fisher, Frances Dillard, Helen Hall, Imogene Dodd, Wilma Tate, Shirley Barnes and Jessie Roberts.
Reba was raised in Dayton and was a longtime resident of Cleveland, Tenn. She was a seamstress at American Uniform. Reba enjoyed everything about church, she also enjoyed shopping with the girls and writing poetry. She was a member of the Family Worship Center in Cleveland.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph Kibble, of Cleveland, Tenn.; four daughters, Jo Ellen (John) Craze, of Soddy-Daisy, Tenn., Debbie (Mitch) Lilly, of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Cathy Kelley, of Murfreesboro, Tenn., and Kim (Dow) Woodard, of California; two sons, Steve (Leanne) Hutchins, of Spring City, and Chris (Lori) Hutchins, of Cleveland, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Alma Sue Schrimpshire, of Dayton.
Funeral services for Reba will be held Sunday, Oct. 20, 2019, at 4 p.m. in the Vanderwall Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Isaac Walker and Chaplain Mike Justice officiating. She will be laid to rest in Rhea Memory Gardens.
