An Evensville woman has been charged with homicide for her alleged role in the death of a Rhea County man last week, according to law enforcement officials.
Amy McCampbell is facing one charge of criminal negligent homicide, a felony.
Rhea County Sheriff’s Department Chief Deputy John Argo said that deputies were dispatched to McCampbell’s home on Evensville Mountain Road on Tuesday. Upon further investigation, deputies gathered enough information to charge McCampbell with criminal negligent homicide.
She was arrested and booked into the Rhea County Jail on Wednesday, Feb. 3, and according to jail records, no bond has yet been set.
Investigators have not yet released the name of the alleged victim.
