Students who did not attend school in the Rhea County School System during the 2020-2021 school year, and students who will be changing schools in the Rhea County School System in 2021-2022 school year, can register early by going to their respective school.

Frazier Elementary will hold registration Monday, July 26, through Wednesday, July 28, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Registration for Graysville Elementary will be held Monday, July 26, through Wednesday, July 28, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Rhea Central Elementary will hold registration beginning Monday, July 26, through Wednesday, July 28, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Rhea Middle School students will register from Monday, July 26, through Wednesday, July 28, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Registration for Spring City Elementary School will be held Monday, July 26, through Wednesday, July 28, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Spring City Middle School students will register from Monday, July 26, to Wednesday, July 28, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Excluded from the early registration are: Rising ninth graders who registered at Rhea County High School this spring, rising sixth graders for Rhea Middle and Spring City Middle schools who registered in the spring and kindergarten students who registered in the spring.

New students who had previously been enrolled in another school system last year are required to provide these items upon registration: A 2020-2021 report card; name, address and phone number of last school attended; immunization records; social security number; and proof of residence (most recent utility bill with correct physical address — not a post office box).

Students who will be entering school for the first time must bring their birth certificate or hospital record, immunization and medical record (green form), social security number and proof of residence. Kindergarten students must be five-years-old on or before Aug. 15, 2021.

Only incoming ninth-grade students should report to Rhea County High School on Wednesday, Aug. 4. Sixth grade students at Rhea Middle School will meet on Wednesday, Aug. 4, for Orientation in the RMS Little Theatre and seventh and eighth grade students will meet in the gymnasium lobby to receive their class schedules. Spring City Middle School sixth, seventh and eighth grade students will report on Wednesday Aug. 4, to pick up their class schedules. No bus transportation will be provided on Aug. 4 at any school.

All students will report for the first full day of classes on Friday, Aug. 6, 2021. Buses will provide transportation on that day.
