SouthEast Bank recently presented the fourth quarter earnings from the Prep Promise Program to Rhea County High School in the amount of $1,083.  SouthEast Bank implemented the Prep Promise Program in 2015 to benefit local high schools in the markets it serves.

Rhea County’s quarterly earnings continue to grow due to the overwhelming support of the community and SouthEast Bank customers.  “

We are very happy with the relationship and association we have with SouthEast Bank’s Prep Promise Program.  It has been able to afford us the opportunity to do things for our school and our students.  We are currently using the funds toward our student recovery program,” RCHS Principal Jesse Messimer said.

The program features a Prep Promise Checking Account that includes a custom debit card bearing the Rhea County High School’s logo and a cash reward of 10 cents directed to the school each time the debit card is used.  “The Prep Promise Checking Account allows parents, family, staff and other supporters of Rhea County High School to financially contribute to the school without taking money out of their own pocket.  Most of us use a debit card daily, so you are contributing money to your school doing what you already do anyway,” Monty Montgomery, President of SouthEast Bank said.

In addition to the quarterly rewards and the annual donation from SouthEast Bank, the Prep Promise program recognizes monthly, outstanding students, athletes, and staff members from Rhea County High School.  These individuals are recognized on the school’s website, the bank’s website, and featured on a wall display inside the school.  In addition, the staff member of the month receives a $100 SouthEast Bank prepaid card.

SouthEast Bank is located in Athens, Cleveland, Cookeville, Dayton, Decatur, Farragut, Hardin Valley, Lenoir City, Ooltewah, Spring City and Ten Mile.  Its primary philanthropic mission is to support local students through programs such as SouthEast Bank Scholars, Prep Promise, Renewing Academic Commitment, and SouthEast Bank Financial Scholars.
