Longtime banker and Dayton native Joshua Roddy has joined FirstBank’s Dayton branch as a senior relationship manager. In his new role, Roddy will be responsible for helping increase FirstBank’s presence in Cumberland and Rhea counties and strengthening existing customer relationships.
Roddy comes to FirstBank with over 15 years’ experience, having previously served as a vice president, loan officer, customer service representative and account manager at several financial institutions in East Tennessee.
“Josh’s history in this community and extensive background in banking and customer support are valuable assets for our team in Dayton,” said Doug Parkey, Crossville market president. “We’re excited to welcome him to the team. His commitment to serving our customers will help them build better futures.”
Roddy graduated from the University of Tennessee–Knoxville with a degree in business administration and a concentration in finance. He is also a graduate of several professional development programs at the Tennessee Bankers Association Southeastern School of Banking.
“I’ve been a part of the community in East Tennessee all of my life, and I look forward to continuing to help this area grow and to working with residents and businesses to meet their financial needs,” Roddy said. “It truly is a privilege to join the FirstBank team.”
In his spare time, Roddy enjoys the outdoors, playing golf, and spending time with his wife and three young daughters.
