Rosa Lee Houston, 80, of Evensville, passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2020, at Parkridge Hospital.

She was a lifelong resident of Rhea County and of the Methodist faith. She worked many years at Rhea Medical Center. She loved her family, her cats and dogs, her flowers and being outdoors.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Ida Travis; husband, James Houston; sister, Faith Travis; and brother, Dean Travis.

She is survived by her children, Elizabeth (John) Frazier, of Harriman, Tenn., and Grace Houston, Rosa (Will) Weaver and Laura Houston, all of Evensville; sisters, Katherine Cox, Ida Lee Creasman and Polly Tyler, all of Dayton, and Geraldine Bishop, of Wildwood, Ga.; brothers, Earl Travis Jr. and Paul Travis, of Dayton; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and special niece, Sandra Riley and Herb Bates of Georgia.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 1, 2020, at Smyrna Cemetery with Rev. Rusty Revis officiating.
