Penny Suttles, 55, a lifelong resident of Rhea County, passed away Sunday, Jan. 24, 2021, at her residence.
She was born Dec. 8 1966, in Dayton. Penny was a loving and caring mother and grandmother. She loved life and lived it to the fullest. Penny was a people person she never met a stranger; she was one of a kind. Penny had such a big heart even though she loved us she would always tell us like it was. Her grandchildren were her world they were what kept her going. Penny made an impact on a lot of people’s lives. She was such a loveable person. Penny attended Open Door Fellowship in Spring City.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Joe Suttles; stepdad, Jorge Flores; and several family members.
She is survived by her mother, Patricia Mize Dayton; stepmom, Linda Suttles of Rockwood, Tenn.; son, Randy Suttles of Dayton; daughter, Shakiara Mckensey of Dayton; sisters, Sandy Garcia of Dayton, Kathy Young of Dayton, Shannon (Dewayne) Golliher of Dayton, Janie Mchaffie of Dayton and Erica (Ray) Rappa of San Diego, Calif.; grandchildren, Kyreonna, Stoney “Man Man”, Mia, Randalin, Rylin, Macy, Amelia, Raemi, Eeligh and Lucy; and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date at the home of her mother. Bro. Joe Mullins will be speaking and special singing by Blake Smart. All are welcome.
