Gary Drinkard died peacefully on Monday, Nov. 16, 2020, at his home surrounded by his family.

Prior to moving to Tennessee, he was a former president of the Harris County Texas Historical Society, and was interested in Texas history. He loved his cats and enjoyed reading, his friends, playing bridge and the outdoors; especially while on his tractor.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
