Columbus “Mac” Beasley, 67, of Dayton, passed away Thursday, Sept. 19, 2019.
Mac was a longtime resident of Rhea County and of Christian faith. He worked many years at Suburban Manufacturing Company in Dayton. He loved coins, Indian relics and hunting.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Price Beasley and Martha Watson Beasley; and brothers, Mable and Willie Beasley.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Keeble Beasley, of Dayton; children, Julie (Bobbie) Harris, of Dayton, Maggie Beasley, of Dayton, and Charles Wayne Gipson, Steven Lynn Gipson and Shawn Wesley Gipson, all of Chattanooga, Tenn.; sisters, Molly Denton, of Birchwood, Tenn., Beulah Walker, of Spencer, Tenn., Lucy Myers, of McMinnville, Tenn., Tish Dodson, of Texas, and Mella Sue Rector, of California; brothers, James and Price Beasley of Pikeville, Tenn., and Kinder Beasley, of McMinnville, Tenn.; three grandchildren, Brittany Goins, Dreama Gipson and Isaac Goins; one great-grandchild, Camison Kinscer; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Sept. 21, 2019, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Rev. Rusty Revis and speaker Bobby Harris officiating. Interment will be at 10 a.m. EST on Sunday, Sept. 22, 2019, at Myers Cemetery in Spencer, Tenn.
The family will receive friends Saturday, Sept. 21, 2019, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
