Martha Jeanette Smith, 85, passed away Saturday, Aug. 2, 2020, at her home in Graysville.

She was born and lived in Chattanooga before marrying her husband, George, and moving to Graysville where she lived many years. She was employed at Graysville Knitting Mill and was a member of Bogles Chapel Baptist Church, where she loved to worship and be with her brothers and sisters in Christ.

She was preceded in death by her stepfather, John Rogers; and mother, Katheryn Rogers, of Chattanooga; husband of 44 years, George H. Smith; and the last of her siblings.

She is survived by two sons, Rick Pritchett and Gary (Angie) Pritchett, both of Dayton; two grandchildren, Mike Pritchett, of Graysville, and Jill (Kevin) Davis, of Dayton; and three great-grandchildren, Gabriel and Lana Davis, of Dayton, and Cameryn Pritchett, of Cookville, Tenn.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2020, at Pleasant View Cemetery in Graysville with Pastor Aaron Revis officiating.
