Pamela Gail Pass Shaver, 66, of Dayton, passed away on Sunday, July 4, 2021, at Hospice of Chattanooga. She was a longtime resident of Rhea County and of the Baptist faith. Pamela worked as a Technical Clerk at Chattanooga State for over 20 years. She loved to cook and spend time with her family and grandchildren.
Pamela was preceded in death by her parents, James Pass and Ruby Tilson Pass.
She is survived by her husband, Greg Shaver; son, Chad Shaver of Greeneville, Tenn.; daughter, Emily (Mitchell) Hooper of Dayton; sister, Diana (Richard) Martin of Chattanooga, Tenn.; four grandchildren, Thornton and Owen Shaver, and Caroline and Briggs Hooper; nieces and nephews, Ethen, Dustin, Breanne, Wendy, Drew, Kelli, Candace and Brandon; several great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 8, 2021, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Pastor Barry Walls and Rev. Clyde Fitzgerald officiat-ing. Interment will follow at Shaver Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
