Wanda Ruth Holloway, 68, died Thursday, Sept. 17, 2020, at Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga, Tenn.
Born on June 20, 1952, Wanda was a lifetime resident of Spring City. She was the daughter of the late Clyde A. and Maxine McClendon Godsey. Wanda loved to grow flowers and enjoyed photography. She especially loved spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren. Wanda was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James H. “Herby” Holloway; infant daughter, Cynthia Ann Holloway; and brothers, Jerry Godsey and Clyde “Man” Godsey.
Survivors include her children, Scotty (Janie) Holloway and Tim (Leah) Holloway, both of Spring City, and Jess (Jessie) Holloway, of Lenoir City, Tenn.; brother, Gilbert Godsey, of Spring City; grandchildren, Dewayne Holloway, Titus Holloway, Jessica Wilkey and Thomas James Holloway; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, Sept. 20, 2020, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with the Rev. Burchon Walker officiating. Interment will be at Add Smith Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
