Dennis Leo Webb, 92, of Dayton, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2019, at Life Care Center of Rhea County.
Dennis was a lifelong resident of Rhea County, and of the Baptist Faith. He was a farmer and a veteran of the U.S. Army during World War II.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Fred Webb and Faye Sneed Webb; two sisters, Bess Bordeau, Dorothy Hawn; an infant brother, Edward Webb; and his first wife, Marie “Hall” Webb.
He is survived by his wife, Mavis Roddy Webb, of Evensville; daughter, Carolyn Webb, of Evensville; brother, Marvin Webb, of Evensville; three grandchildren, Cara Dulaney, Amanda (Aaron) Goins, and Kile (Kristin) Akins; six great-grandchildren, Madeline Goins, Allie Goins, Amos Goins, Courtney Akins, Chelsea Akins and Chase Akins; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 24, 2019, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Dr. Roger Rothwell and Speaker Mac Steinmeyer officiating. Interment will follow at Buttram Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 23, 2019, from 5 to 8 p.m.
