Everette “Bubba” Walker, 66, died Saturday, July 25, 2020, at Parkwest Medical Center.
Bubba was born on June 22, 1954, in Greenville, Miss. He was a pipefitter with Pipefitters’ Union No. 177 out of Brunswick, Ga., and worked for 49 years before his retirement. Bubba loved to hunt, fish and cook. He enjoyed people and never met a stranger. Bubba loved his grandchildren and making memories with them by teaching them how to grow a garden. He lived life to the fullest. Bubba was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, I. E. and Laudie Lee Weatherley Walker; and sister, Judy Lee.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Walker, of Spring City; son, Matt Stout, of Grandview; sister, Jane Drummond, of Hot Springs, Ark.; grandchildren, Pierce Stout, Morgan Stout and Jordan Stout; and nieces, Tara Norwood and Leann Jones, both of Hot Springs, Ark.
Due to COVID-19 concerns, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
