Alden Michael Miller, 70, of Graysville, died Sunday, July 18, 2021, at home with family by his side. Alden was a member of Brayton Seventh-day Adventist Church, served in the U.S. Army, and later worked at La-Z-Boy for 12 years. He loved old cars and restoring them, wood working, and making lamps.
Preceding Alden in death were his parents, Albert and Edell Fields Miller; brother, Alvin Ross; and sister, Lola Faye Nelson.
Alden will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 44 years, Sybil Annette Stewart Miller; brother, Anthony (Teresa) Miller; sisters, Alberta (Larry) Peregoy, Ardith Simmons and Annette Johnson; sister-in-law, Nancy Ross; niece which was raised like our on daughter, Danica Stewart; many special nieces and nephews along with several great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews; Hearth Hospice nurse, Robin Hughes; and a host of friends.
A celebration of life with military honors will be held at 1 p.m. CDT on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at Pikeville Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Petengill officiating. Burial will be at Brayton Cemetery. The family will receive friends from noon until service time.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Pikeville Funeral Home to help with final expenses.
