Vangie Chenelle Stephens, 41, died Tuesday, September 22, 2020.
Born on March 23, 1979, Vangie was a lifetime resident of Spring City and graduated from Rhea County High School. She was a homemaker and a caregiver. Vangie was a member of Watts Bar Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Donna Price Keeton; grandparents, Luke Price and George Stephens; and uncle, Kenny Stephens.
Survivors include her father, Roger D. Stephens, of Soddy Daisy, Tenn.; daughter, Maddi Smith, of Evensville; sister, Donita Stinnett, of Dayton; half-sister, Leslie Cameron, of Soddy-Daisy, Tenn.; stepsister, Brandy Archer, of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; grandmother, Stella Price Corbitt, of Spring City; grandparents, Gary and Peggy Wright, of Soddy-Daisy, Tenn.; aunts, Kim (Tim) Beasley and Sonja Stephens, both of Soddy-Daisy, Tenn.; uncles, Darrell Price, of Florida, and David Price, of Spring City; nieces, Shelby and Sammi Payne and Arianna and Averly Cameron; and nephews Hunter Stinnett and Wyatt Cameron. A special thanks to Hearth Hospice caregivers, Jessica and Kierra.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, Sept. 27, 2020, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Daggett officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
