Loretta Maxine Miller, 72, of Dayton, passed away Thursday morning, Sept. 17, 2020, at her daughter’s home in Evensville. She was born Jan. 31, 1948, in Oneida, Tenn., the daughter of the late Paul Edison Keeton and Mary Branum Keeton.
Loretta lived in Dayton for the past 35 years. She had been employed by the Rhea County Department of Education as a school bus driver for handicapped children. Loretta enjoyed cooking, sewing and was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her four children, Alicia (Barry) Shaver, Treena (Terry) Mitchell and Wayne Miller, all of Dayton, and Bobbi (Glenn) Keylon, of Evensville; brother, Doug Keeton, of Richmond, Ind.; sisters, Paulette (Roy) Mermoud, of Richmond, Ind., and Trudy (Victor) Miller, of Kingsport, Tenn., eight grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
Funeral services for Loretta will be held Friday, Sept. 18, 2020, at 6 p.m. in the Vanderwall Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Fields officiating. She will be laid to rest in Smyrna Cemetery in Evensville.
