DCS volleyball vs. Lake Forest

The Dayton City School Lady Sweatbee volleyball team hosted Copper Basin Middle School on Tuesday, Feb. 9, battling, but suffering a varsity defeat in three sets, while the junior varsity squad won in two sets.

Varsity (25-17, 22-25, 13-15)

The Lady Sweatbees’ varsity offensive stats include:  Neylee Poole was 8-for-9 in serves, with five aces and two kills; Tinsley Walker was 8-for-8 in serves, with one ace and one kill; Kylie Anderson was 7-for-7 in serves, with one ace; Savannah Skiles was 6-for-6 in serves, with one ace; Brie James was 4-for-6 in serves, with two aces; Chelsea Reel was 3-for-5 in serves, with one ace and four kills; Paisley Wilson was 2-for-3 in serves, with one ace; Hailey Harris was 2-for-2 in serves; Brylee Pelfrey was 1-for-1 in serves.

JV (25-12, 25-5)

The Lady Sweatbees’ junior varsity offensive stats include:  Neylee Poole was 8-for-10 in serves, with three aces and four kills; Hannah Watson was 9-for-9 in serves, with four aces; Keira Graham was 8-for-8 in serves, with six aces; Judith Leyte was 5-for-5 in serves, with four aces; Ella Kelley was 4-for-5 in serves, with one ace and one kill; Holly Smith was 1-for-1 in serves and had four kills; Parker Tidwell was 1-for-1 in serves; Jetta Sharp had two kills; Brie James had one ace; Kiara Crawley had one ace.

In previous action, the Sweatbee teams hosted the Lake Forest Middle Lady Bruins on Thursday, Feb. 4. The varsity fell in two sets, the JV lost in three sets, while the sixth-grade team claimed a victory in two sets.

The Lady Sweatbees’ varsity offensive stats include:  Hailey Harris was 5-for-6 in serves; Savannah Skiles was 3-for-4 in serves; Chelsea Reel was 3-for-3 in serves, with two aces; Paisley Wilson was 3-for-3 in serves; Neylee Poole was 1-for-1 in serves; Tinsley Walker was 1-for-1 in serves.

JV (25-19, 10-25, 6-15)

The Lady Sweatbees’ junior varsity offensive stats include:    Brie James was 5-for-9 in serves, with five aces; Kirra Garmany was 5-for-8 in serves and one kill; Holly Smith was 5-for-7 in serves and had three kills; Kiara Crawley was 5-for-6 in serves; Neylee Poole was 3-for-5 in serves, with one ace and two kills; Hannah Watson was 3-for-5 in serves, with one ace; Brylee Pelfrey was 1-for-1 in serves, with one ace.

Sixth Grade (25-18, 25-19)

The Lady Sweatbees’ sixth-grade offensive stats include:  Ella Kelley was 10-for-13 in serves, with eight aces and one kill; Parker Tidwell was 6-for-8 in serves, with four aces; Keira Graham was 4-for-7 in serves, with one ace; Jetta Sharp was 4-for-6 in serves, with two aces and two kills; Miley Corvin was 4-for-6 in serves, with one ace; Peytan Graham had two kills.
