The Spring City Middle School Lady Bulldogs defeated Cumberland 14-2 on Tuesday, Sept. 15.

Natalie Hankins got the win on the mound for the Lady Bulldogs, as Kailah Kile came in for relief for Hankins at pitcher.

The SCMS offense was led by Hankins and Libby Swafford, with two hits each. Kile, Karmah Swafford, Jenna Burchard and Laney Tallent had one hit apiece on the night.

The Lady Bulldogs will host Bledsoe Middle on Monday, Sept. 21, with the first pitch scheduled for 6 p.m. At 5:30 p.m., the Lady Bulldog eighth graders will be recognized before the game for eighth grade night.
